The holiday hustle ride

Thursday, December 13 | Meet at 338 Poplar St at 6:00 PM. Leave at 6:30 PM.

All we want for Christmas is...for you to come to Macon Bike Party! It's time for the jolliest ride of the year -- the Holiday Hustle.

Break out your festive lights, ugly sweaters, funky santa costumes or any other seasonally-appropriate attire and join us as we explore some of Downtown Macon's most spectacular Christmas lights by bike!

Macon Bike Party is a free, slow-paced community bicycle ride for people of all ages and skills levels. Come enjoy our great city and its neighborhoods from a unique perspective.

Show up at 6 pm at the Bike Walk Macon office at 338 Poplar St. Wheels hit the street at 6:30 pm. Remember to bring a helmet. We'll have FREE Bike Walk Macon lights and warm drinks for everyone. A map of the complete route will be available on this page 24 hours before the ride. Riders are welcome to join or depart the group at any point.

We'll have a costume contest with super cool prizes, so be sure to dress up!

Help us bring the party by contributing a tune or two to the collaborative Spotify playlist here.

If you follow the rules, Macon Bike Party will be a safe and positive place for riders, drivers, pedestrians, and the community.

  1. Stay in the right lane. NEVER ride on the sidewalk. NEVER ride against oncoming traffic.

  2. Ride straight, ride predictably.

  3. Stop at red lights and crosswalks.

  4. Leave nothing and no one behind.

  5. Ride SMART! It’s illegal and dangerous to ride a bicycle inebriated.

  6. Make friends and have fun.

Remember, you are responsible for your own behavior. All participants ride at their own risk.
