It’s not a race, it’s a party on 2 wheels!

MACON BIKE PARTY: Tour de Bragg Jam

Thursday, June 12 | 6:00 - 8:00PM
Bike Walk Macon Office - 830 High Street

We're teaming up with Bragg Jam to bring you a ride that hits all the right notes! Throw on your vintage Bragg Jam tees or dress up as your favorite Macon music icon - Otis Redding, Little Richard, Lucinda Williams, Gregg Allman, or your own creative spin. The best-dressed rider will win a FREE general admission ticket to the Bragg Jam Concert Crawl!

We'll cruise through the streets of Macon to the sounds of the official Bragg Jam Spotify playlist, ending the night at Rose Room Macon, where Jak the Act (who’s also performing at this year’s Concert Crawl) will keep the party going with a live DJ set.

Macon Bike Party is a free, slow-paced bicycle ride through Macon’s neighborhoods with music, friends, and fun. All ages and skills welcome - costumes and bike decor encouraged. It’s not a race, it’s a party on 2 wheels!

  • When and Where: Registration at the Bike Walk Macon office (830 High Street) at 6 PM. Before the ride, we’ll share city-cycling safety tips. Wheels are down at 6:15 PM and ends at The Rose Room (378 2nd Street) by 8 PM.

  • A complete route map will be available on the Facebook event page 24 hours before the ride.

  • Riders are welcome to join or depart the group at any point.

  • Remember to bring a helmet.

  • We'll have FREE Bike Walk Macon lights, snacks, and water.

More Fun:

The Rose Room (378 2nd Street) is our official after-party spot, where riders can gather and socialize after the ride. We'll finish at the Rose Room, so stay a while and make new friends! Plus, Bike Party attendees get a 10% discount on their tabs!

 HOW WE RIDE

Here’s how we make Macon Bike Party a safe and positive place for riders, drivers, pedestrians, and the community.

  1. Stay in the right lane. NEVER ride on the sidewalk. NEVER ride against oncoming traffic.

  2. Ride straight, ride predictably.

  3. Stop at red lights and crosswalks.

  4. Leave nothing and no one behind.

  5. Ride SMART! It’s illegal and dangerous to ride a bicycle inebriated.

  6. Make friends and have fun.

Remember, you are responsible for your own behavior. All participants ride at their own risk.
