What is Open Streets?
For one day, Monroe St., Tattnall St., and Oglethorpe St. will be closed to cars. This means people can meet neighbors, walk, bike, dance, and play safely in the street!
What will we do?
Bike Walk Macon is hosting this event with the Macon-Bibb County Reimaging the Civic Commons Committee, Commissioner Paul Bronson, and your neighbors from Pleasant Hill, Tattnall Heights, and Beall’s Hill. We'll also be adding traffic calming interventions to make streets safer for walking and biking - even after the event!
What can you do?
We want to hear your ideas! Come to the park on August 16 to share your thoughts and learn how to get involved with the big event in September.
