March Walk ‘n’ Talk
WHAT: St. Paddy's Day Color Walk
WHERE: Rosa Parks Square | March 17 | 6:00 PM
ABOUT: To celebrate St. Patrick's Day, we’re turning a simple walk into a colorful scavenger hunt inspired by the viral “color walk” trend.
Participants will pick a green color swatch before we start and spend the walk spotting matching shades of green throughout downtown - from plants and storefronts to murals, signs, and unexpected details you might normally pass by. It’s a fun, creative way to slow down and notice the beauty in our city.
Other Details:
This one-hour, casual group walk meets on the third Tuesday of each month (March to June and September to December) at 6:00 PM. We’ll feature a guest guide and/or special topic to discuss as we explore the streets of Macon.
Participants should be able to walk 3 miles non-stop. Wear appropriate fitness gear and bring water. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed.
Before each walk, we’ll do some light stretching as Bike Walk Macon’s Education Instructor shares pedestrian safety information and smart walking tips.
Thank you to Piedmont Macon for sponsoring our 2026 Walk ‘n’ Talk series!
